As your Houston Newborn Photographer, I’ve designed a seamless, stress‑free family experience. These newborn sessions are all about taking a moment to slow down and fully embrace your little one. My approach is simple and baby-led, allowing us to focus on your newborn’s cute baby rolls, flaky skin, sleepy yawns, and those precious, tiny details. We will thoughtfully and safely pose your baby with our professional newborn posing techniques to highlight those delicate new features that change so quickly and are easily forgotten. As we focus on capturing beautiful images of your little one, feel free to sit back, relax, and truly soak it all in. Your little one remains in your view throughout the session; we invite you to witness and savor these tender first moments.

Reserving your Houston Newborn Session

To ensure the best results, newborn sessions are typically scheduled when your little one is between 5–25 days old, as they tend to be sleepy and naturally curled during this time. Booking early, ideally in your second trimester, helps secure your spot for a studio newborn session in Houston. We accept only a limited number of newborns each month to ensure personalized attention. Need a last-minute opening? Reach out; occasional spots may become available.

Flexible Scheduling

  • Your due date is penciled in and adjusted once baby arrives. When your baby arrives, I’ll do my best to schedule you within those first few weeks.

  • Induction or C-section on the calendar? Let me know, and we’ll plan around it.

  • After booking, you’ll receive a prep guide with simple tips on what to expect and how to prepare for your session day.

What to Expect on Session Day

Sessions take place in my home studio near The Woodlands, TX, thoughtfully designed for your comfort and your baby’s safety. Everything is taken care of, from soothing sounds to a toasty 80–84°F temperature — so all you need to do is sit back and relax.

Your session will include:

  • Up to 4 hours of dedicated time

  • Feeding and cuddle breaks as needed

  • A curated selection of high-end props, soft wraps, bonnets, and accessories are provided, as well as dresses for mom

  • Safety-trained assistant for posing and transitions

  • A fully sanitized environment, so you can focus on enjoying the experience. 

Image Delivery & Heirloom Options

  • Shortly after your session, a sneak peek will be posted on our Facebook or Instagram page.

  • Within four weeks of our session, your gallery will be ready. Images are delivered via digital download through a password-protected online gallery. This beautifully laid-out gallery will allow you to view, download, and share your photos with loved ones.

  • Optional heirloom products, such as albums, framed prints, metal, or acrylic wall pieces, etc, are available à la carte.
